Dear Teresa and Leila,
I want to thank you both for giving me an amazing opportunity to become a surrogate. My experience as a surrogate was more than I can ever imagine. When I was pregnant the baby’s parents and I developed an incredible bond. After getting to know the parents even more I knew that they wanted this more than anything in the world. After an amazing birth experience, I have friends asking me “Kayla, how could you just let the baby go?” Or, “Doesn’t it bother you that she is not yours and you won’t see her anymore?” My answer is, “She is not mine. She has two wonderful parents that waited a long time for her. It doesn’t bother me that I don’t see her because I know she’s extremely loved and taken care of by her family”. My goal when I became a surrogate was to make someone else’s life for the better. It wasn’t about money, it was about blessing another family with a miracle baby. I couldn’t be happier for my IP’s and their little girl. None of this was possible if it wasn’t for you and Leila. If anything, you two are the angels. You guys have made many people parents.
